2015 is going to be a busy year!

Summer Over Carrot Island has been juried into the 7th Annual North Ridge Art Exhibition and Gala!   On February 28th, the final judging will be held at the North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, NC.  Summer Storm was one of 25 paintings selected by juror Sarah Scroth, Director of the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University for this years event.

Also, in March, Brad Lorbach, incredible artist, teacher, and entrepreneur from Taos, NM, will be here in Eastern NC!  He will be teaching a class in color and brushwork. This oil painting workshop will educate artists in all phases of painting, using the still life format to do so. There will also be a free demo on Sunday evening for those who would like information on his Old Master's Maroger medium.  This is the medium that I now use exclusively.  The class is March 16, 17, 18 at Arts and Things, with the free demo on Sunday, March 15th. Contact Arts and Things for more information. Class size is limited and I will be there!

Coming soon, on April 8th-12, I will be having a solo exhibition at Floyds 1921 in Morehead City NC.  This show will showcase the art created during my roadtrip to Taos, NM for training with the Bright Light Fine Art Guild.  More information to come!
