And Welcome 2013! THIS is going to be a great year, or at least a busy one!
January is all but done, and I am working on some commissioned pieces, but, in March, I will be collaborating with the NC Maritime Museum and the Friends of the Museum to paint paintings, one of the Queen Anne's Revenge aground with the Adventure in the Beaufort Inlet, and the life of the HMS Bounty. Being in Beaufort, being a pirate, and being that she went down here, it is a "no brainer" to paint this piece of history….all the research I need is right here at the Maritime Museum. The Bounty, well, I have seen her on many occasions and am compelled to paint this piece. I am still in the research phase of these pieces (I really want to get as much as accurate as possible…..I will also be showing them here as we go also…..so stand by!
